My current mission is to live life as strongly as possible. It is not an easy thing to put your fear away to see the truth in life

I believe life is about collecting experiences rather than collecting things. I like to see new places and meeting interesting people. I enjoy being outside and doing something physical: hiking, cycling, boarding, swimming, paddling, anything to outside and feel the wind on my face. I like to drink occasionally and to smoke ganja frequently.

I am new to the couchsurfing experience. I hope to meet interesting people on my travels. I am also looking forward to hosting when I have a couch.

Interests

I like to read. Old books, new books, fiction or nonfiction. I've always had a keen interest in history and geography.
I'm a novice scuba diver and sailor but want to do a lot more of both

Music: reggae, hip-hop, rock, classical, dub-step
Movies: Forrest Gump, Avatar, blackhawk down, heat, and dumb and dumber
Books: Steven Pressfield(Gates of Fire, The Afghan Campaign), Hemingway, Gary Jennings(Aztec). Mostly historical novels, but I'll read anything I can get my hands on. Amazon.com knows who I am!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent a year in the western desert of Iraq escorting convoys across the barren deserts of Al Anbar province. I wouldn't recommend it.
