ABOUT ME

I have been in and out of school studying various Asian Healing Arts since 1984.
5/1/12 graduated as a Doctor of Medical Qi Gong and want to pay more attention to healing myself now. Part of that means to see more of the world around me. Seeing how people live and think so that I can understand the ailments that people have better. I am currently writing a "How to" book on Sound Healing. Also, interested in using Handpans for personal growth (meditation with sound creation) and transmitting that transpersonally. Oh, by the way, I am also a Taoist Priest and gay. Fairly active guy, mellow but enthusiastic about life and all that it can be. One more thing, even though I am gay I will take male or female. In any case, I have a comfortable Thai mat to sleep on and can provide sheets, pillows, blankets. There is a large window that looks out into my bamboo patio. No kitchen priviledges but I can throw something together for a traveler. After reading all the above, I would like to say I am a fun guy too!

PHILOSOPHY

Among other things, I believe in taking ownership for my actions and practicing compassion. Not afraid to enjoy life either. I like the idea of waking up with a passion (Red Bull's idea but how I see myself).

Interests

As of 2013 I am converting a Shipping Container into a cabin on the Big Island of Hawaii. Healing, sensing and projecting energy, gardening (a lot), Handpans (like the Earth scale by SmartyPans that I am playing here http://youtu.be/Dd8o_XjWNEg , travelling, massage, naturism, nurturism, Sound Healing Therapy (using Handpans, gongs, chimes, bells, tuning forks, etc), stunt kite flying, TM meditation, reading, daydreaming.

Sci-Fi books and movies. Handpan music. New age/Handpan music. Did you see Promethius, Battleship, The Avengers? There were all good in my opinion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some times I share dreams and thoughts with people. I have also ridden an elephant in Thailand, walked the Franz-Josef glacier, sailed the West Indies in a 29 foot french sloop, seen an rainbow around a buddhas head at Ankor Wat. I encourage myself to go out of the body, that is always very fascinating. Do not worry, I will be present with CSers!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach massage, concepts of sound healing and basic energetic sensing and projection (success depends on how much you can let go). I can do massage exchange as well. Once I get good enough at it I can play my handpan for you. It is a personal sonic meditative tool for me but many use as a musical intrument. I believe I am fairly good at putting people at ease. Which really helps when I do healing. When doing a Medical Qi Gong session it is most beneficial that the person is at his or her's greatest ease. And that is how and why I promote my services as Deep Rest. It is like a mini-vacation in a two hour span. Yes, I will help you off the table (and provide water or tea)!
