Hey I'm Chanco!

* I live in a single room in a student dorm. I can only host one person at a time and female preferred. I can provide a yoga mat, pillows, sheets, towels.. I have to say that it's not very comfortable, but I would like to try my best to make it better.
Please, do not treat here as a free accomadation. I prefer to have more communication with my guests and hosts. Also, I'm not a party girl, sorry that can't provide you the info of clubs, bars...
But showing people around in Cologne is always welcome :)

I come from China and now I'm studying in Cologne. Like Amelie, I like watching little things in life. It's so interesting and it makes me feel like, I have discovered a secret world. Also, dreaming and the nature can't be more wonderful to me! Everything in the dream is amazing to me, no matter a "good" one or "bad", because I can live in someone else's story or discover more about myself. And Nature! Just feeling good to get close the nature and can't help to drawing the view down and stay there forever.

To be honest, I'm not very outgoing and talktive, but I also enjoy meeting new friends. Afterall, people and the world is so big and intersting i-D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Beautiful views are everywhere, but it's more wonderful to know an intersting friend in a strange place.Reading more and more profiles, I can more or less learn about a person. Especially reading some long profiles, I can know more of the people and feel their sincerity to really make some new friends, which impresses me a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

· Actually I don't have a really typical music favor. I love any music which touches my heart, eg Post Rock, Cantonese music...
· I just love too many movies, except horror films(I think it has sth to do with the fact that my mom saw too many horror films when she's pregnant).
· If I have to name a book as my favourite, it would be "Letters to the Young Artist". When I have been suffering from the stress, which a very very important exam brought me, this book has always conveyed peace to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many nice memories, I try to remember sone of them...
1. walking 25km one day in one city. To me it's really a surprise. I still remember, how many different sides of the city I have seen that day. I couldn't feel tired until i at the end of the day stopped and sat. Use the feet to measure the world.
2. lying under the starry sky in Abisko. waiting for the aurora even my legs were starting to be freezed

Teach, Learn, Share

If u r interested, I can teach some Chinese and the chinese art, calligraphy.

I'd like to learn what u want to teach. Maybe whistling (I have failed for to many times...)

and of course I am grateful to take what u share, except horror films and horror stories...( but sometimes my curiosty just kills my afraidness. I listened to those stories, and being afraid almost at every night in darkness...
