About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as possible with my wife and to use our skills and professions to help those who need it most.

ABOUT ME

Traveling is something I am extremely passionate about. My wife and I have made at least one, somewhat large, trip every year we have been together. One thing that definately ties us to the CouchSurfing community is our desire to travel on a budget.

PHILOSOPHY

The attitude, ability, and desire to learn, no matter what stage in life, is a dying human characteristic that every person should strive to resurrect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. It was the scariest thing I have ever done, being that we didn't know harnesses were permitted so I climbed the cables (the last ~400 feet) without a harness. As scary as the climb was, the top was absolutely amazing!! By the way, I didn't think the climb down was nearly as bad, but many people think the opposite.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a civil engineer by profession, but I have a Masters in Business Administration as well. I am experienced in anything DIY around the house as well. The biggest thing I would like to learn at this point is a second language. With my Spanish as rusty as ever, I would love to eventually be fluent.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
