ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty open-minded person and easy-going person. I love meeting new people, learning about their cultures and seeing new things. I spend a year abroad in Graz, Austria and I had an absolutely amazing experience. Living abroad has definitely changed my life and opened up a whole new world for me and awakened a huge passion for travelling. My home is in Albuquerque, New Mexico (where they filmed Breaking Bad!). Also, I'm really good at cooking New Mexican food! And if anyone has a great Apfelstrudel recipe, please let me know! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Right now, I live for adventure. I am in my early 20s and would like to experience lots of different aspects of life. I believe in being kind to everyone I meet, you never know what kind of battle someone might be facing. A smile never hurt anyone :) I currently work with children with Autism but I will be starting my Master's soon in Biomedical research.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be travelling through central and eastern Europe in May, June, and July and I would be forever grateful if you would open your house to me for a few days. Once I go home to New Mexico, I can't wait to start hosting, meeting people, and showing them the beauty of my state and my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Completely several smaller trips in Austria and Switzerand, now about to start a bigger trip from Berlin to Athens over six weeks.

Intereses

Travelling, experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, learning languages, discussing politics, watching documentaries, cooking, hiking, reading, enjoying life, and creating memories. I also really love yoga, so if I could do that too, that would be excellent!

Hmm. This one might take a while to narrow down! Probably spending this year in Austria, it has definitely changed my life for the better!
