ABOUT ME

I am very curious, content and full of wonder. I am quite short, but I make the most of footstools and climbing on furniture to get through life. I have owned the same pair of flip flops for 11 years. I can play a mean game of Scrabble. I am happiest when outside.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to surround myself with great company and explore the wide wide world. Trying not to judge people and let everyone have the benefit of the doubt and just let things play out is the way I approach my interactions with others. I feel like I've been hurt only because I refuse to accept that a lot of things are out of my control and that sometimes terrible and wonderful things just happen, and not for any particular reason.

Being surrounded by foreign things and people in far off places, forts, blackberry mojitos, kitchen chatting, off-trailing, bread making, leisurely reading in coffee shops, dinner parties, auspicious coincidences, food growing, picking up hitch hikers, 40 foot runouts high off the deck, bike-ganging, out-of-control cross-country skiing, burly offwidths, deep, dark chocolate eating, hot springing, borrowing ingredients, sleeping under the stars, balancing poses, swings, running in muddy rain, traffic controlling, waking up to a new view everyday for weeks at a time, scuba diving with sharks, thrift shopping, living out of my car, long-distance hiking, awkward movies, silly-themed parties, cooking spontaneously, writing at 3 am, extreme hula hooping, singing along, genuine smiles, making absurd bets, laughing uncontrollably, feeling teeny tiny, huge mugs of tea, following my intuition, snail mail, and bruising easily.
