Hii, I’m Karen! I’m from a small tourist town in Ontario (outside of Toronto, for those familiar!). I was feeling a bit stuck working remote with just my computer for company, and I was looking for more. I jumped on the chance to grab an Aussie travel Visa and am exploring this beautiful country for the year (any recos are highly appreciated!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, and no better way to get to know a city than through a local (new or not!). I’m travelling around Australia, pet sitting and exploring to get a sense for where I’d like to settle to for the duration of my travel Visa!

I love all kinds of music, but am especially into the 70s, classic rock, 90s, alternative, and dance music (plus, anything that has singable lyrics or that you can dance to!)
