I love travelling and meeting new people! I can be reserved initially when I meet new people, so I love the idea of couchsurfing as a way to step out of my comfort zone and make fellow travel-loving friends! In my experience, exploring a city with locals has been such a great way to learn about a new people and culture!

Would love to meet up with anyone who is visiting LA!

Music - I usually go for Top 40, but I am open to almost anything! John Newman, the British singer, is one of my absolute favorites and I would love to see him in concert! I'm also a big fan of The Weeknd!

Movies and TV - I'm much more of a TV person than a film person. I still pay for cable and having a DVR is high on my list of important items to have (although I still Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime, etc.) My favorite TV show of all time is The West Wing and current favorite is tough, but I'll probably go with The Americans. I'm big on my dramas and dramedies, but I love a good comedy (like Younger or Speechless). I also love any good competition reality show, like American Ninja Warrior, Big Brother, and The Amazing Race!

As for movies, I'm a sucker for a good comedy! One of my favorite movies is Some Like it Hot! And I also really like anything historical - Titanic is another one of my favorites!

Books - I love reading! I started a book club about 2 years to have people to talk to about books and to introduce myself to genres that I wouldn't normally read. I generally go for historical fiction or "chick lit" novels, but I am open to mostly anything. I love Harry Potter of course! And in my book club, we're currently reading What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty!
