I love traveling, walking around, reading (but more watching Netflix), cooking (but more eating). I'm a freelance journalist based in Seoul, South Korea and the managing editor of a media startup called Korea Exposé.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to travel cost-effectively and meet people in intimate settings. It teaches me to trust strangers. The first time I couchsurfed was in 2010, in Washington state, USA. I stayed at Dan and Allison Podarkey's in Wenatchee -- who had an awesome basement with remnants from their pirate-themed wedding.
