Im a very adventurous person. I love traveling, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. Coming from South Africa and having a multi racial background I've alway been able to socialize with different types of people. I am open to trying new things such as photography, dancing and adventure sports.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find its harder to meet new people and experience new things in today society where people are not as open to talk to people they come in contact with everyday such as when you standing in the line for coffee or sitting on the bus. Thats why im trying out this site. Hopefully it will expose me to many different people events and activities.

Music, Movies, and Books

There really are just too many series movies and books out there to choose from for there to be one favourite. The genres I'm interested in are comedies like Zombieland and historical romances like Pride and Prejudice. Im open to a good scary movie now and again but I really don't like stupid reality shows. I enjoy educational ones though, maybe offering some insight into lives or things we never knew about such as netflix's tale of lights about photography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught English in South Korea for 2 years which was one of the best experiences of my life (even though the diet took some getting used too). It really opened up the world for me. Oh, and i also jumped out of a plane. Also was pretty cool but scary as all hell.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not many people know much about South Africa except a few stories on the news but besides apartheid we have such a rich history. I could offer some insight into a culture you might not be aware of. I could share this with hosts and maybe build on a trans continental friendship.
