About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find a way to South- East Asia

ABOUT ME

Well...
I guess human beings are very complicated...too elaborate for words maybe...but best is to get to know me...But fortunately there are some "hard facts": I a student of international relations and law, living in Paris at the moment.

PHILOSOPHY

Ni dieu ni maître

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed a bit in North America, and before that with Hospitality Club in Europe, my Couchsurfing experience was just great so far, I meet so many interesting people, not only while hosting but also when attenting the meeting; it's just the perfect way to leave behind the everyday's chorus and to be reminded that live, and the people you meet within, is great, always different and there's always something to discover.

Interests

short version: books, people, languages and being lazy sometimes
long version: Books are my way to take a distance from life, to remind me that I should be humble and that the world of words allows you to see things different, in a somehow fascinating way.
People cover all the places, imaginary and real, I'll infortunately never be able to travel to, they allow you to see the beauty of the difference between us and the beauty of youself. Well hell, it's not this complicated actually, normally you just pass a good moment and have fun...
Yeah, languages, communication. I dare say it's fun to talk to another person by gestures only, but it's more fun for sure when you actually can talk to each other in one language or another...given my interest in communicating, languages are the medium to meet new people and sometimes to understand your origins and the origins of another culture through the mysticism of word.
Being lazy speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess everything has a certain quality and is worth finding out. I can always stop. But eventually I admire some artists more than others:
Books: Dostoevsky, Hemingway, Nabokov, Beckett and Baudelaire
Films: Kubrick above all, Tarkovski, Jean Renoir and Luis Bunuel, J.-L. Godard and all the Nouvelle Vague
Music: Classic (Beethoven, Chopin and Debussy), Jack Johnson, Arcade Fire, The Roots....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to make every minute, every cognitive experience penetrating my head an amazing thing (impossible, I admit)

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn: everything
Specifically at the moment: Patience
I offer my humble experience to share a good moment.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ecuador, Iran, Morocco, Palestine, Russian Federation

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Morocco
