I love music and produce some of my own. Listen at https://soundcloud.com/screamingsmoke. I'm a radio host with my own hiphop show on Radio Scorpio, the oldest free radio station in Belgium. Stayed with Hicham and his wonderful family for a week in Rabat. Traveled together to Chefchaouen.

I'm the product of a mixed marriage myself so I'm always interested in other cultures and how cultural habits cross over from one cultural sphere to the other.

My taste in music is so diverse I can't explain in a few words. I will listen to anything that strikes a chord with me and am always actively looking for new and weird stuff I haven't heard. Check out my youtube favorites at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=FLwu2BhZryzz7In4fOsoZC1g .
The same goes for movies. I'll watch anything and everything and won't shy away from old classics or weird auteurs movies.
My favorite writer right now is Haruki Murakami and Connie Palmen.

seeing dancing horses in pakistan, riding a camel through the ocean and watching an illegal car race in Karachi, hitchhiking from Brussels to Porto and back, making my own radio show, attending a Sunday mass in one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Europe, praying salat-ul-eid in a soccer field with thousands of worshippers shoulder to shoulder, watching the sunrise from the hill overlooking Budapest, surfing in Basque Country, getting robbed by a gang in Porto and not letting them take anything, teaching kids about acting, radio production and music making at summer camp, interviewing a load of artist at music festival throughout Belgium.

I want to learn about the prejudices that I no doubt still have but which I don't know about. Getting in contact with other cultures seems like the best way to do that!
