Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess to reduce the cost of traveling as hotels are great & a cool place to meet other people, but the expense for a week or two duration takes its toll when you look at staying in numerous countries, I wouldn't mind paying something to those who are hosting, and would definitely leave a farewell gift and things for the hosts so I'm not trying to look for a completely free way of sleeping aha.

It would also be cool to meet people who live in different countries and see what their lifestyles are like, how they go about their day to day business, and just generally having a first person view of life overseas.

Interests

I enjoy reading & used to be a real bookworm in the past, I also enjoyed writing and aspired to be an author, which is still an option providing I can conjure the patience and commitment to finish a story, of which I've a bunch of ideas.
Starting a company is another one of my interests, I'd love for one of my ideas to materialize and be of use to a whole load of people, the idea of starting from scratch and building a team to work together with is pretty cool.
I also like wildlife I guess, have a number of dvd box sets about the planet and wildlife and all that stuff.
As for sports you can't beat football. I'm a supporter of Tottenham Hotspur but really admire a whole bunch of clubs for players, managers and fans
Just like writing I also love the idea of film making & would love to get into that at some stage, since I used to make short terrible films on an old Nokia 6300, I really wanted to peruse film at that stage of life, and is still an interest today.
Travel is probably the most blatant of interests (since I'm on this website lol), & even though I've been on a few holidays & haven't really traveled around allot the whole concept of it is still amazing & I'm looking forward to diving into this final interest a whole lot more in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music I can't pinpoint one song, or genre, if the songs good I'll like it and add it to my playlist, there's movie soundtracks, anime theme songs, Japanese pop, piano based songs, american rap, singing, just a whole bunch of music with no real theme to it, I just like songs.

As for Movies where to start, Nacho Libre is hilarious, The Goonies is just as funny & more of a 'classic', Little Manhattan is a film I saw once and enjoyed allot.
Secondhand lions was pretty good, only seen it once and I remember feeling good afterwards, so I'll include that.
Masterpieces like The Shawshank redemption have to be included.
The Social Network was pretty good, seen it maybe 8-9 times, it provides inspiration when I want to work on an idea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd consider 'amazing' to be changing someones life, saving them from something, helping the quality of their life, saving animals and the planet, so I can't really say I've done anything 'Amazing', other than donations and things to charities I haven't directly done any of the amazing work charities do.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not too sure what to write in this but I would do all three for sure if that means teaching someone else, learning and sharing experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enthusiasm haha, a good sense of humor, hopefully share my English skills with people whom aren't fluent in English, share stories about things (not that I have many aha), maybe share some knowledge about business and different industries if they're interested at all, and just generally a good time is what I'd hope to share the most.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cyprus, France, Tunisia, Wales
