I work as a Biology lecturer in Universitas Internasional Batam. I love travelling but I am not a rich person. I consider myself an open-minded person, I like sharing thoughts and experiences and I think we can learn something from everyone. I respect everyone as long as they respect me too. I always try to be organized and serious in general, but I admit I often end up dreaming and get lost in space. I am curious nature, which implies me being a good listener, a keen observer, and, last but not least, a huge plant lover!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, first I know the Couchsurfing because of my friend. He told me that it is a better app than I used a dating app (lol), means more positive orientation. Beside that of course because I like traveling and like to meet some one new from different country, different language and culture. I always dream about amazing trips and there are so many places I’d like to visit, so I hope to make my dreams come true as soon as possible!

Interests

Biology maybe because I studied Biology a lot in school and University hahaha.

Travelling (of course) and getting in touch with new people with different cultures. I am fascinated by foreign languages and I’d love to learn some new ones, if only I have time.

I like music and dancing and obviously I also like to going to live music coffeeshop and Karaoke studio, but still nothing more relaxing than classical music when I am tired and just need some peace. I also have a nerdy side: I like playing games and watching Netflix.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste really depends on my mood. I love everything from rock to pop, from punk to Indie, Jazz and even dangdut music. I love watching movie in Netflix or in a Cinema. I love Titanic, fantasy, and action movies like marvel. Book: I seldom to read the book, but I like the book about nature, so that’s why I like Biology, does it make any sense? Or maybe I can tell you that I love to recite Holy Quran and learn the meaning of the cite I have been read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Usually I often travel to somewhere not because of my own willingness, but because of my job or my educational business. So. I usually I get sponsor for that. How lucky I am. Gratefully, I have been successfully renovated my parent’s house in my hometown from my own job here in Jakarta. I think that is my amazing thing I have done.

Teach, Learn, Share

As you may noticed. I am very curious about Biology, foreign cultures and tradition: food, language, habit, lifestyle. I also like to take photo about nature, iconic building that represent the place I have visited.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, here in Jakarta I live in a small and simple boarding house. But I always try to make my guests feel comfortable and try to adapt my schedules so that I can have at least half of a day free to spend the day with them. I really like to show my city to whoever visits me and try to every type of public transportation that we can use in Jakarta. I am not the best city guide you can ask for…I still do my best.

When I am hosted: I am flexible, I like to explore the places I go to and of course take photos with the iconic building, monument or statue in there. I am not always in a party mood, so I enjoy chilled evenings at home or in public transportation.
