About Me
"Safar khoobsurat hai manzil se bhi (The journey is more beautiful than the destination)" would be a cliche lyric for you but for me, it's something I've strongly believed in and experienced. And I believe nothing could make this more true than spending your journey with actual people, with their own stories. I'm 21 and have just started to explore the world but I've learnt through my experiences and nothing would thrill me more than sharing them with you! I've just completed my graduation and left with the giant question of what to do next - and what better way to think of the answer than while travelling and meeting new people! I like to read, watch shows, cook, listen to music, and podcasts and do things to improve myself. I've been working part-time as a social media manager. I guess I should leave some things out now for when we meet ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For most of my life, I've been an ambivert and have usually found it quite a challenge to interact with new people but in the past year, I had the opportunity of joining an NGO - MakeADifference where I had the privilege to interact with hundreds of talented people from across the country and it has been exhilarating! Never have I found myself more drawn toward meeting new interesting people and listening to their stories. Plus travelling has always been a passion, which is why I guess I'm on Couchsurfing. That and an interesting little social experiment that I wish to carry out for which I'm interacting with as many people as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, my taste goes East to West. I have no specific genre that I like to listen to, and my preferences keep changing. However, Billie Eilish has remained a constant. Unique songs entice me. Best Friend by Rex Orange County and Cupid's Chokehold are songs that have my heart.
It's hard to choose a favourite movie, but mystery/thriller/horror are my favourite genres. Love good mindbending and thought-provoking stories too from time to time. Sitcoms are also a favourite. Been more into anime lately.
My favourite book has to be The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It was also the book that made me want to learn Spanish. Moreover, a recent read was The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini which I believe is a book everyone should read at least once in their lifetime.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I feel like I've just gotten started with my life so I don't know what would have been the most amazing thing yet haha. But if I were to say, it'd surely be my volunteering experiences with various NGOs. Be it, teaching orphans, distributing food among the underprivileged, or writing exam papers for blind students, it has been an amazing journey, something that I'm really proud of.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you how to make some amazing fries haha just kidding. I've had some life-changing experiences lately based around spiritualism which I'd love to share.
I consider myself to know nothing when it comes to learning from others, hence I'm open to learning everything.
We could share great conversations over great food ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like getting something small from my hometown, especially sweets or savoury snacks for whoever I visit. So please don’t hesitate to ask me if you want something specific, I would love to get it.
During my stay, I can help you around in cleaning the house if you need any help. I won't say I'm an amazing chef, but I could cook you something as well!
And of course, I would love to spend time with you and your friends and your family if you have the time .
