I am a creative person who loves traveling. I have been to 6 countries and want to expand that vastly. I have lived abroad twice and found the experience to be unparalleled. I love meeting new people, exploring, and adventures. Also, I enjoy reading, writing, and anything in the arts (film, dance, song, etc).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find one of the most valuable parts of exploring a new place is meeting the natives. Doing normal tourist stuff can feel inauthentic. Getting info from locals is great. Also, being able to meet up with fellow travelers is awesome. I am an extremely outgoing and social person, so people of the world is my highlight. Of course, economics is also a factor.

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE YA Fiction: hunger games, divergent, hush hush. My degree is also in English literature, so throw in some Donne, Austen, and Shakespeare (wildly different writers, I know). I am trying to do this adulting thing where I read big girl books that are profound.....
My absolute favorite band is Thirdstory. Three guys whose voices blend beautifully! I also like Paramore, Chris Stapelton, Marren Morris, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, The Civil Wars (please get back together!), and instrumental music/big band jazz for relaxation and concentration.
Pride and Prejudice, Silver Linings Playbook, Wanted, The Kings Speach, anything with supernatural abilities. I love almost all movies but horror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accidentally snuck into a Carrie Underwood itunes Music Festival concert in London and ended up 20ft from the stage.
