Hi, my name is Kiarah and I love meeting others, exchanging stories, exploring and learning about each others' cultures. I enjoy an active, healthy and vegan lifestyle. I'm gay and proud to be part of Cairns' beautiful lgbtq+ community. I help organise Cairns Queer and Lesbian Meetup (find us on Facebook).

I have lived in Cairns since March 2017 and absolutely love it. It is a beautiful place with so many wonderful people and I'm sure you will love it too. I work in Aboriginal health and travel to Cape York every second week or so for work - it's the best job!

After couchsurfing around Europe in 2011 I fell in love with travel and couchsurfing. I went on exchange to Denmark in 2013-14, where I had the opportunity to do more couchsurfing across Europe. I have hosted in Coffs Harbour where I grew up and on the Gold Coast where I went to university.

I traveled around Europe in March 2011 with my sister and met the most wonderful people. My time would not have been as amazing if I didn't couchsurf! It is my favourite way to travel.

I hosted a few people in my hometown of Coffs Harbour before Europe and more surfers in the Gold Coast in 2012.

I also couchsurfed around Europe in 2013/14, and met up with some people I had previously hosted!
