About Me

CURRENT MISSION

learn Dutch :)

ABOUT ME

I want to have traveled by all high-speed trains in the World :) Firstly ICE, TGV (done) :) Later, I hope, I'll be able to try Shinkansen in Japan:)
I was born in Belarus but grew up in a very small Lithuanian town - Šalčininkai (my town is multinational and because of that i understand some polish and belarusian). I'm open to meet new cultures and languages. Erasmus exchange programme gave me such opportunity and momentum to meet more and more people from many countries. What could me more multicultural than living in Amsterdam now?

I like to travel (and to try local sorts of beer), however until now my travel portfolio is filled just with European countries. Cycling is another part of my life. When i have free time i take my road bike and ride somewhere outside the city.

PHILOSOPHY

Smile :) Reducing my carbon-footprint :) I don't have a car, i prefer public transport and bicycle (going Dutch).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed at the different places in the Netherlands and Belgium, and it was amazing.
Canoeing in Utrecht's channels,
guided night tour in Antwerpen,
host with cute dogs in Haarlem,
and Maroccan food in Den Haag.
10 minutes walking in Norway to see the sunset at the fjord :)
The inter-rail Eurotrip was even more amazing and hopefully much more to come in the future!

Interests

History and the Development of the Railway system in Europe and all over the World. It is more than just a type of transport, trains make me happy. Strange, isn't it?
