ABOUT ME

Finally, I have left the nest. I have rolled up my sleeves and ventured out into the world to carve a name for myself upon this earth. It’s about time.

I think one of the greatest tragedies in life is not to experience what the world has to offer. In the last few years I was fortunate enough to travel to Japan twice. My time there is one of the greatest of my life. Not only because of my nerdy otaku nature, but also that I got to experience such a different culture and way of life. It was then that I decided that I wanted to experience the world, not only as a consumer, but also as a producer. I want to give something back to these fantastic places I experience. Being only a simple journalism major, how can I do this? Ah yes, another English teacher abroad. After a long and strenuous road, I have found myself in South Korea. Come and join me in my journey.

PHILOSOPHY

There is a reason I have been put on this earth. I haven’t found it yet, and maybe I never will, but what the hell, lets see what’s out there.

Mi casa su casa. I like knowing I’m not alone on this side of the word. I want to gave others that same feeling. I am here for anyone that needs a hand, or just an ear.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been “that guy on the couch” before, though it still blows my mind that there is a community like this. It makes so much scene.

Reading, writing, traveling, video games, anime, meeting new people, fine coffee and weiss beer, experiencing what the world has to offer, educating the youth of the world, one brat at a time.
