CURRENT MISSION

Planning a trip to SE Asia for a few months. No set return date, just want to immerse myself in the culture, eat some awesome food and do some adventuring along with a whole lot of nothing. My bf Tim and I travel together.

ABOUT ME

I devour books and any and all food put before me. I can eat Vietnamese food every day and hope to go to Vietnam soon for some real Pho. I volunteer at a no-kill animal shelter and wish I had the stomach to be a vet.
I could probably live on wine and oysters if it were possible.

We are very laid-back and while we like to drink and have a good time we are definitely not into the "party scene".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My bf and I live far from the "cool" part of Austin and are sharing his tiny apt to save up for our trip so we are not currently hosting.
We will meet up and give you advice on all the good places to eat and drink, however :)

We would like to meet up with people in the countries we will be travelling to, get some drinks and good local info and hopefully make some friends along the way.
If you have room available for us, even better! I feel like I should say that we're not looking to save money but have a different travel experience than the norm.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook so I would be happy to share in cooking with you or make dinner. Both of us have bartended for years so drink making and story telling come easy. If you have pets, we can care for them while we're there
