ABOUT ME
I am currently living in Albuquerque, NM but I have lived in NJ and MA here in the US and in Israel and West Germany. I have family and friends all over the country and the world. Love spending time with my family and friends! Since I cannot see everyone in person as much as I would like, I spend time with them on Facebook...
I am a huge reader and worked as a librarian for 17 years and in a book store. I am a librarian for 2 1/2 days of the week and I teach gifted elementary school students the other 2 1/2 days.
I love hiking and exploring. I am a pretty good tour guide and if I am busy myself, can give you lots of ideas of places to go and things to do in the southwest. I have been on some wonderful road trips to Texas, Arizona, Colorado, and of course, all over New Mexico. I live right near some awesome petroglyphs.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was a host for several years and am planning to host again soon. I am also happy to meet somewhere to chat. I love staying with couchsurfers, getting to know them, and getting the inside scoop on areas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined couchsurfing in August, 2008. Since then I have hosted fun, interesting people and have stayed with other very nice people. In addition, I went to a few CS events and hosted a CS potluck. It's all been great!

I am a voracious reader. Three of my favorite books are Coyote Blue, Pay it Forward and The Hobbit.
Lately, I have been watching a lot of foreign and American tv shows and movies, mostly sic fi and comedy.

I can help you learn about your Mayan calendar profile, read your Tarot cards, tell you about places to see here, possibly go swimming and/or hiking with you or tourist around (can this be used as a verb?) based on how busy I am. If you are a massage therapist I would be very interested in doing a trade (I trained here in NM).
