ABOUT ME

I'm an English guy who wasted far too long stuck in the old 9-5 routine, but luckily I got the travel bug in 2005 after going to visit a friend in Japan who was backpacking around the world and coming home to find myself very jealous! A year long trip then turned into a 2.5 year one and I've got away whenever I can since.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to enjoy the short time I have in this world and see as much of it as possible, having fun and meeting cool people along the way.

Despite having registered ages ago, I've not actually participated in anything CS related yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet through this web site, although obviously I have met various people travelling and stayed on their sofas; in Buenos Aires, Dublin, San Francisco and various other places! I've also met various couch surfers on my travels...

Interests

Live music, I go to lots of gigs when home. Travelling obviously, I try to make the most of every day I get free from work! Computers I guess, though not in a nerdy way, hehhe, but it is my job. And despite having no interest when I was at school in languages I am always keen to learn now, and managed to get quite good at Spanish during my time in South America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing the 16 day Annapurna Trail in Nepal was probably the most amazing thing I have ever done, it was hard work but absolutely beautiful scenery and worth every step.
