I'm from Australia, and I've lived in British Columbia for about 6 years, and I'm now planning to move to Montreal! I always like learning new things, chatting and laughing over some good food and drinks, and trying to leave the world in a better place than when I found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting and staying with locals seems like a great way to really get to know the city. Plus you get to meet so many great people at the same time! I also want to try hosting some people once I've settled down somewhere.

I'm a big fan of Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer so two of my favourite movies are Inception and Interstellar. I also love A Beautiful Mind, Arrival, and Moonlight.

I like a lot of non fiction like Creativity Inc, Waking Up, Quiet, and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Southeast Asia by myself and figuring it all out as I went.

Doing a 2 week camping/hiking trip in rural Australia with Outward Bound.

I'm very open minded so I always enjoy interesting conversations about all sorts of things like philosophy, politics, and ethics, but I also like just a bit of banter when you feel more like a laugh. I like to think that you can learn a lot from anyone.

I only know English and am learning French, but if you want to some practice your English, I'd be glad to help!

What I Can Share with Hosts

While I won't be able to fix your fridge if it breaks down, I can make sure none of your food goes to waste!

I'd be happy to help out with things like dishes, cooking, cleaning, and any other chores you need a hand with around the house.

I'm also very understanding that you're letting me stay at your place so if you need me out during the day, then I can get by on my own.
