Originally from Gloucester in the UK (think hot fuzz), I then went off to the university of Nottingham to study mathematical physics for 4 years. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there and got into many stupid situations. Kept pretty active with the local music scene there and ran a film society for 3 years. I then failed to get on to a quantum gravity phd so moved back home for a year to save up for some travels. After that I'm thinking of changing field slightly and trying to get onto a masters on the philosophy of physics at the University of Bristol.

I'm doing the standard 20 something graduate thing of saving for a year and then getting on the Australian working holiday visa for a year and backpacking about. I'm on my own so I thought I'd look for fellow travellers to befriend wherever I can.

兴趣

I really like my music and film, I like all sorts but usually err on experimental stuff and b movie trash. Not a fan of clubbing but love a good pub crawl or really any excuse to be an idiot and go on disastrous adventures. I usually stay pretty active trying to keep up with whatever's on wherever I am and failing that I like a good walkabout in the country.

I'm not sure amazing is the right word but most people are usually impressed that I was stupid enough to go skinny dipping in Nottingham canal in the middle of the night in December sober. I would not recommend it, it was a long time till I felt clean again and I think I may have caused some lasting trauma to some dozing ducks.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to put here, I know a little bit about a lot of pointless things. I have a fair knowledge of music and film and I can tell you about some half remembered maths/physics and some mostly made up continental philosophy.
