ABOUT ME

Hi! We are Kieran and Natasha, a couple from Oxford, England. We are currently cycling around the world.

Kieran grew up in Birmingham, England with his parents and younger Brother. He studied Computer Science at the University of Birmingham and finally moved out of his parents house when he got a job in Oxford, that's where he met Natasha who convinced him to buy a bike, and shortly after convinced him to quit his job and cycle around the world.

Natasha grew up as the youngest of four in Benoni, South Africa, and moved to the UK to see the world when she was 20. Unfortunately life and bills got in the way and she didn't get to see as much of it as she originally planned. Now at the age 30 she is finally getting out there!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When we were living in Oxford we hosted a number of friendly and interesting couchsurfers and warm showers members.

Since we left England we have been lucky enough to stay with a number of CouchSurfing and Warm Shower hosts who have been extremely kind and generous to us and we have really come to enjoy the unique experience that staying with local residents provides, whilst also forming some genuine friendships.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our experience has been hugely positive! Many of our hosts have been truly warm and inspirational people who have gone out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We have been taught many things about how to be even better hosts when we finally have a place of our own again.

Kieran likes: Bicycles, coffee, real ale, music, Aston Villa, spicy food, gadgets, sleeping, hiking, cooking, camping and of course cycling.

Kieran dislikes: Shaving, cycling with GPS and beans on toast.

Natasha likes: Vegetarian food, the environment, the colour green, origami, wine, olives, bad movies, and of course cycling.

Natasha dislikes: Navigating big cities, techno, waking up and normal working hours.

Natasha likes: Most types of music, although she's not so keen on serious electronic dance music.

Kieran likes: Sleeping through movies

Natasha likes: Sci-Fi, Fantasy... most movies except horror.

Kieran likes: Mosty fiction books; Sci-fi, some fantasy, and comics.

Natasha likes: Staying up late reading any old trash.

In May 2013 we sold all of our belongings and set off on our bicycles in search of adventure.

We are both well travelled and have experienced many different cultures. Kieran has a degree in Computer Science and Natasha has a degree in Psychology and Criminology.
