I am visiting Perth to take part in the Sculpture by the Sea festival at Cottesloe. I have hosted many couch surfers, but through the profile of my former housemate Shachar Liberman. I live in Sydney and often travel to Berlin to pursue my passion for dancing, in particular I like Contact Improvisation, Contemporary, Street Dancing and a little Ballet. I also enjoy good conversation, connecting with people and sharing food and going out dancing. I also am involved in physical theatre, play guitar (though mine is not with me on this trip), singing (especially in groups). I like languages, and deep respectful (but occasionally controversial) discussions, I like when people offer me a new way of seeing the world or challenge my perspectives. I try to bring love to my encounters with others and encourage people to attach value to the world so that we may all draw pleasure from this life.

I would like to meet people, and see how their lives are. I also want to travel for long periods and hostels are too expensive to permit this. I find the knowledge of locals invaluable as a traveller, and find the exchange of knowledge with those I meet most rewarding. I have long hosted couch surfers through a housemate that I lived with for two years, but never activated my profile until now. Berlin seems like the ideal place to get the begin building connections through this site.

I teach dance and facilitate movement modalities. I am visiting Perth to participate in the Sculpture by the Sea festival at Cottesloe. Our art collective is made up of people from all over the world most of whom met in Berlin. Many of us come from the world of Contact Improvisation which is a dance form involving touch, weight sharing and deep listening.
