PHILOSOPHY

Learn something- anything new everyday and I consider it a good day and take that knowledge and share it to make the world a better place somehow, someway. A smile adds to everyone's day :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share the idea of CouchSurfing with everyone, even putting it on a recipe card for potlucks & constantly sharing our fantastic experiences :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have Couchsurfed at with two people in Hawaii & and one couple in Texas and it was simply fantastic. We hope to host some people soon or at least meet some folks for coffee.

Interests

Our passions include kayaking, running, cycling(including a Tandem Recumbent Trike), swimming, hiking, photography, and many artistic pursuits including stone carving and glass fusing. We are generally game to try most things but especially like intelligent conversation and learning new things.I love CBC radio & NPR in the U.S. I don't have an antenna or cable & get my news & documentary fixes online.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have had the joy of raising two incredible daughters and have seen them blossom into amazing women.
Kayaked with Orca in British Columbia, have laid on the rocks in Mermaid Cove to watch a meteor shower & stirred the phosphorescent algae at night. I've seen relief in people just from the expression of 'hope'. I've seen generous people who share when they have little to share. I've seen relationships form and life long friends found!

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what to put here. We are both teachers and have endless interests and as such resources and information about a variety of topics. Favourites would be Psychology, Special Education, Alternative Energy, artistic endeavours.
