Hi Couchsurfers!!

My name is Enrique, I come from Madrid and I am currently traveling around South America after spending 1 year traveling around Asia and Oceania with my backpack.

In 2017 I was diving in a Cenote in Mexico (sinkholes, see my profile pictures) and that moment changed my life. When I saw the beauty of that place I realized that the world is just amazing and that I didn't want to spend my life trapped in a routine. So, I decided to make my dream come true. I quit my job, I left everything behind and took my backpack!!

Now I can say that it is the best decision I have ever made. So far, I have been traveling for 10 months. I have visited Jordan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, New Zealand, Fiji, Australia and all southeast Asia. I have made hundreds of friends and I have lived hundreds of adventures!!

I am an easy going person and I think that I am smiling 90 % of the day. My main interests are photography, sports, meeting new people and of course.... Travelling around the world!! I have visited many countries in the world and I would like to continue visiting as many countries as possible. My life goal is to visit at least 100 countries.

One of my favourite hobbies is scuba diving. Every time I´ve got the chance, I dive wherever I go. So far I have dived in the most amazing places in the world, such as Maldives, Galapagos, Indonesia, Mexico, Red Sea and so on... Apart from that, I love photography, skiing, swimming and dancing.

When you are traveling, you realize that the time you share with people that you meet on your way are memories that will last forever!! And CS is an amazing platform to meet people.
To me, being hosted by Iocals is one of the most incredible experiences that you can have while you are traveling.

Apart from that, when I am in Madrid, I love hosting people and show them around my beautiful city!!

I can share with you all the adventures and experiences that have happened to me during my trip.
Of course, if you are interested in learning Spanish, you can practice it with me.
And, even though that I am not a professional, I can show you how to take really nice pictures and if you want, we can do a photo shooting session. I love taking portraits!!
