Just returned to the United States after living a few years in Europe, remembering how beautiful Turtle Island is and learning gardening techniques from the Hopi& Zuni. Working in the sustainability and restoration sector

Degree in Regenerative Systems and Degrowth Program in Political Ecology and Bioremediation. Teaching workshops on bioremediation, hosting conversations on political theory, and vipassana meditation.

every breathe an exchange of art; inhalation inspiration, exhalation expression. I travel to experience, to feel, to embrace the opportunity presented by the unknown. Im a seeker. I am a creator. I embrace the odd and unusual.

I love conversations, I'm pretty good at doing Mexican food, Japanese, Thai. Healthy Pacific Northwest 'hippie' food (lots of kale and salmon). I can entertain your childhood friends, tell stories, etc. I would love to make friends who also like to do the strange art of "outsider" / art brut / surreal absurd etc. , Magicians, friends with deep understanding of educational systems and health care, friends who just love coffee, tea, and sweet moments in parks. Friends who just love to laugh. Friends who love to nest and hate sunlight and people. Friends who love sunshine and people. Introverts and extroverts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a CS account, then I lost the email attached to it. Ive been using CS since I was a wee teenager, Ive had many lovely times with CS, have hosted and surfed all across Latin America, North America, and now Europe.

I once heard a quote surmising my current life theory: Life doesn't start until 40- up until then it is all just research. I keep my magnifying lens close at hand, looking underneath and around, noting, hmming, and documenting. I like acknowledging sensations, standing still enough to feel my lungs expand with fresh air, to hear the trees exchange the CO2, I practice Vipassana. I silversmith, dig for gems and minerals, hitchhike, travel, write, read Jung-Hawkins-Manly P Hall, study anatomy and herbalism, believe in giving things away, make my own alcohol and elixirs. I like finding the still point in chaos. I make art with bones, rusty metals, fine gems, and oddities. I watch painting classes on youtube. I listen to chemistry lectures while climbing. I enjoy the quality of lovingly grown and prepared food. I don't eat meat. I have a garden in my backpack that I grow fresh herbs from. and...Most of all, I like drinking coffee.
