After my Master's degree I went traveling to see the world. The trip was quite an experience and I ended up moving to the Netherlands and start working there.
Now, five and a half years later I am taking half a year off from work to go back out there and explore the beautiful nature and cultures of Central and South America.

During my last trip it has been an amazing experience, meeting other travelers from all over the world, meeting locals on the street or while couchsurfing, talking and discussing about so many different subjects like religion, consciousness, astronomy, life, etc.

I'm looking forward to creating similar memories and living through yet again totally new experiences on this backpacking trip!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

During my trip I would like to get to know the culture of the countries I visit and be closer to the locals.
I have had very good experience with couchsurfing back in 2017. It is a good way to meet locals and get to know each other.

兴趣

Walking, trekking, scuba diving, skiing, snowboarding, extreme sports, fooling around, singing random songs that come to mind, going on adventures and walking off the main road, nature, culture, riding the motorbike, surfing, guitar, camping, board games, card games, ... there is just so much to do out there. I wanna do all of it!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I traveled through South-East Asia and Australia in 2017. Back then I canceled my trip half-way to move to the Netherlands for a girl I met in Indonesia.

Living the Indian way, trekking up to 4200m in the himalayas in Nepal, riding the motorbike all through the beautiful landscape of Vietnam, getting my scuba diving license in Thailand.

I'm currently practicing my Spanish while in Latin America. So I'm happy to learn some more Spanish from you (in case you know Spanish of course ;p)
With regards to teaching. Well, if you want to learn about our cosmos and astrophysics, I'm more than willing to share all my knowledge on that from my studies. Or if you are interested in machine learning / AI and data science, I can teach you one or two things from my work life. On top of that I'm most enthusiastic about teaching and sharing my positive way of living and view on life itself :D
