ABOUT ME

First of all we are a family, you will be coming into a family home where you will be told to make yourself at home more times than is good for you. We are really welcoming and love to involve people in whatever we will be doing. the Mother and excellent cook is Mary and she will do all she can to look after you, but would love to get recipies and products from your home town. the Father is William who will drag you into a river at 6 am or drag you up a mountain depending on his mood. He wants to know everywhere you have been and most of all "why limerick?" all the siblings will be coming and going, the eldest daughter Grace is in Edinburgh Studying, second oldest Shane is in Athy working away, he will be back the weekends and the youngest Siobhan is studying in Limerick and lives at home.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been hosting for the past three summers through our Daughters profile http://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=8OPC63F&from_search&search_ranking_names=1 and have hosted well over 50 people from all areas of the globe. We have a map where each couchsurfer writes their name and places where they are from, so that one day we can do a round the world tour to visit everyone back.

Interests

Life is not worth living if you don't travel and there is nothing better than the school of life for education. We believe in hard work and family values, as well as our own special brand of crazy which includes mad swims and mad plans. you will probably b roped into doing something in the household, whether it be chopping wood or baking a cake, hiking three miles, or chilling in the hot tub. Mary is a Nurse, a mother, a amazing cook, the organizer, the baker, the haggler, the minder and a genius, William is self employed, a philosopher, an astonomer, a reader, a professor, a hiker, a swimmer and a genius, the kids are all just amazing and on their way to becoming geniuses.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

that time when my daughter didnt tell me we were having couchsurfers and they showed up! it was ok, we always have the spare room made up though.
