About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy all Dublin has to offer

ABOUT ME

Set this profile up ages ago to see what the couchsurfing scene in Dublin was like but wasn't really in a position to host.....But that has changed and hope to host a few like-minded wanderers this summer. Love backpacking and love hostels, Love meeting new people and love sharing stories of adventures around the world.

Love sitting on the beach and watching the sunset with a few cold beers.

At the moment I'm back home in Ireland after a few years of traveling around the US and Australia. Trying to sort a career for myself before I head off on an on my travels again. Next Up.....A mammoth trip across Asia and make my way back to Melbourne, Australia by Land and by Sea.

PHILOSOPHY

A good quote to live your life by is this one from Oscar Wilde:

"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people simply exist, that is all"

All I know is that I want to be one of the rare ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to Couch-surfing as I never really used it when I was traveling that much. But I'm hoping to give it a try and maybe host some people here in Dublin before I use it myself when I set out into the sunset again. I always like the idea of it but kind of thought I would miss meeting people in hostels if I used it. But I can see it has a lot of benefits.

Have a pretty generic taste in movies..anything goes. But one movie every backpacker should watch is a film/documentary called "A Map For Saturday" Great Movie.
