About Me
We're brand new to Couchsurfing and really excited to try it out! I'm a parent of two quiet, vibrant, and thoughtful teens looking for hosts on our grand adventure south and back. Courteous non-smoker, homeschooling parent, omnivore and lover of curiosity. Some of us are vegetarian.
I love to meet the diversity of humans on our amazing planet, and my kids are just as curious about life as we live it. Between the three of us, we love and practice writing, musical theater and Shakespeare, good and bad movies, drawing, painting and whatever else you can create with a pen and pencil. We are good-natured and open, and welcome differences as an opportunity for connection when provided.
Not religious but respectful and appreciative of others' spiritual practices, from the conventional to the marginal. And we love pets of all kinds.
We may not be able to stay long as we travel, and we appreciate good company as well as solitude.
Please Note: We live quite rurally and have spotty cell phone service at home. Communication from home is done via email, or we could chat in person by phone if you prefer. Once I'm on the road I will have an active cell # and the ability to text; I will update my profile with that info and share with prospective hosts. Thanks for understanding!
