Well, because I want to meet locals and share a good time with them. For me it's more important to get an impression of everday life elsewhere than doing sightseeing.

When it comes to music I guess it's easier for me to say what I don't like than defining what kind of music I'm listening to. Best concert I've been to: Black Mountain. Next concerts I'm looking forward to: Moderat, Mogwai and the National.

With regard to movies I definitely prefer indie movies to blockbusters. And since I want to read more, I'm happy about any books you can recommend.
