So I joined Couchsurfers to help make my trip to Australia more affordable and I left Australia so much richer from the experience than I could have imagined. For one, Australians are SO friendly and welcoming! I felt incredibly thankful to the couchsurfers I stayed with. I'm a huge fan of couchsurfing now and recommend it to anyone who's curious. It's one thing to get a gorgeous picture of place you've never been but it's extra special to meet someone from across the world who becomes a new friend.
Oh and I will try hosting soon. I'm still just trying to catch up on life/work after being away.
