About Me
ABOUT ME
There are different sides to me depending on my mood, the company I'm with or on how hungry I am. I can be quiet, boring and aloof, but I can also be very outgoing and sociable. I love spending time abroad, but I love home as well. I just want to take life as it comes. Like Bill Hicks said: "life is like a ride in an amusement park", and that is how I want to live it.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm open to having drinks with people and showing them around when my work and studies aren't in the way. Also, I host the weekly Saturday meetup in Amsterdam now and then.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met wonderful people through couchsurfing that ended up being good friends of mine.
Interests
I love food (Korean, Japanese, Thai, Italian, sandwiches, scones etc), people (relaxed, open minded ones) and coffee (lots of sugar and lots of milk). Preferably a combination of the three.
I also love listening to music. Classical music to relax, but also contemporary music to get my energy going. Shaking my butt off at parties is also my idea of a good time.
When I'm alone I love to sleep, walk or contemplate the meaning of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Radiohead, PJ Harvey, Mark Lanegan, Talking Heads, Queens of the stone age, Bach, Joseph Haydn, Nine inch nails, Peaches etc.
My all-time favourite book is Gulliver's Travels. I also love reading about gnosticism, conspiracy theories and self-healing.
Amadeus is my all-time favourite movie, but I can enjoy all sorts of movies now and then, ranging from so-called arthouse movies to mindless, brain damaging popcorn entertainment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing thing seen: breathtaking views of the Himalaya.
Amazing thing done: Canyon swing! Actually, I didn't really do it myself. The instructor actually had to push me off the bridge (200m high!) because I was too chicken to jump myself. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
You never stop teaching, learning and sharing. With every person you meet, this happens naturally.(^_^)
