ABOUT ME

My boyfriend Curt and I are traveling the United States looking for adventures and interesting people! After a year of saving up, we've quit our jobs and set out on the road trying to stretch our travels as far as possible!

We're also trying to plan extended stays through the WWOOF organization!

The possibilities are ENDLESS!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We'd love to be able to park our van in your street or parking area! We have our "house-on-wheels" which is equipped with everything but a bathroom and extra house-mates. We'd love to roll through, maybe make a communal dinner/drinks/conversations with the hosts till it's time to head to bed. In the morning we'd be much appreciative of a quick shower and we'd be back on the road.

Longer stays- if the host is willing, we'd love to see the area through their eyes even if it is just a description we can follow on to our own adventure!

We're extremely flexible in our plans!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've since moved away from Burlington Vermont, but when living there, a few old roomates had signed up using this site and hosted a few couch surfers! They all were very interesting and intriguing! We've always wanted to see it from the other side!

Broad range in all categories. There's a good chance you'll hear some dead if driving with us, but bluegrass, classic-rock, indie, and many other genre's are all winners as well! Curt likes to jam on his electric drum set which is part of our traveling home and I'm sure he would show you how it works if you don't mind drumming in your house!

1. Traveling down to Bonnaroo in Tennessee with a caravan of people I had just met from New York City. It was amazing to me how fun the adventure was with complete strangers!

2. Meeting my boyfriend of 6 years at a halloween party. His costume was a paper bag over his head!

3. The moment after my twin sister gave birth to her baby I could actually feel how powerful that moment was and would be for the rest of her life!

If we set up a stay at your house, we'd love to find something we find interesting on our travels and share it with you!
Who knows, a bottle of wine from Maine, A bottle of Vermont Maple syrup, or a local jar of honey from an area near you. These could be the type of things we'd share with you- along with a story of where it came from!

We also like cooking our own meals so this might be our contribution to you- just let us know allergies and food-hates and we'll bring dinner along too!
