About Me
CURRENT MISSION
i seek the hidden treasure, the spring bubbling in the desert, the song of the world
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised with my younger sister in the big city of New York by hippie naturalist parents and beautiful loving Austrian Omi before moving to the suburbs of East Coast Australia. Here I grew from youngen living, playing, running free with dogs and horses, surfing as a school sport, houseparties and the small country town feel with 1 degree of separation.
Travelling into the centre of this big desert land after uni completely changed my perspective and I realised that fresh bubbling ideas and joy can be found in even the most desolate of places.. it is in fact within us all along! Huge realisation discovering life in nature is far easier leaving the city lights behind.
My uni degrees led me into a finacial consultancy job, where I became very much immersed in the small sweet bubbles of culture that can sometimes be found around Sydney. I lived with a busy townhousehold of mostly political and community activists, which helps in balancing the sometimes cold sterile corporate world.
I lasted 2 years in the city, and since then I've been gypsying around country USA and back in Aus, studying organic farming, viticulture and most recently the teaching of yoga.
PHILOSOPHY
if you cannot kiss it and it doesn't dance, eat it or throw it away.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed lots of couches through my network of friends around Aus and the states.
When I am settled and nested I love hosting guests to try out my new recipes and to bring new insights into my bubble =) I have co-hosted a number of wonderful surfers through the network brought home by my Sydney city living housemates.
Interests
love, adventure, yoga, the ocean, hot springs, hula hooping, cooking and eating, books, music, huge trees, snap dragons, the world in general...
I am very interested in spirituality and the history of the worlds religions right now. I definatley don't subscribe to any one religion but I find them all to be very fascinating. I have developed my own, I guess what you could call, practices. There's something to be said for all theories and philosophies and love hearing peoples ideas on the subject.
I love meeting new people and learning of new cultures. There is nothing more awesome than the life of a human being. We are all so lucky to get to experience life in these amazing vessels

Stumbling into a spontaneous lyrical/chanting session during dawn in the temple of Black Rock City... it is still resonating through my mind and into every corner of this world.
