CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to experience as many things as I can in this wonderful journey called life! I am traveling around Europe with my best friend Thuy at the moment to just learn, grow, experience, get lost, and hopefully find a new me along the way!

ABOUT ME

I love a good laugh! I will try anything once and I love to meet new people and fill my life with new experiences. As far as I know we are only here once, so my aim is to learn, grow, love, give, share, laugh, cry, dance, taste and LIVE as much as I can before I go!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in giving more than you receive, being grateful, and leaving things (people, places etc) better than you found them. I believe in trying new things, and accepting and embracing change as it brings new and exciting opportunities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only just found out about couch surfing from my friend Emma who told me all about the wonderful experiences she had. At the moment I am only able to participate in couch surfing as a guest, because I am traveling for the foreseeable future, but would be open to being a host once I settle back home. I can say that as a guest I am extremely respectful of people's space, very tidy and quiet! You'll hardly know I'm there unless you want to have a chat, and then I'll be very much willing to oblige :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been lucky enough to meet some amazing people through couch surfing, it's such a great way to make friends all over the world, swap stories, travel ideas and cultures.

Interests

Seeing the world and other cultures is top of my list right now. I love nature, and the arts in all forms. I don't think I can go a day without listening to some kind of music on my iPod. I love adventure, and get a mischievous spark in my eye when I can sense one coming along.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. It's a true story about an Australian man who escapes prison and flees to India and all the adventures he has there. I love movies, fantasy is my favourite genre, but I love a good rom com or ridiculous comedy just as much. I can't imagine my life without music, I have very broad tastes and used to work in a live music venue in Melbourne (my hometown)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The amazing things I've done and seen always include nature. From the peak of Hong Kong Island, to ocean side cliff-tops, to the beautiful ancient Karri forests in Western Australia, these are always the sights that humble me the most, even though cities are fantastic as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot of knowledge in fitness and nutrition. I have studied fashion and textiles design, so have a range of skills in that department including drawing, sewing, designing etc. I can read palms, that's probably my best and most weird skill!
