37 years old and looking to break out of my comfort zone a bit. I have had a rough couple years and have reached a turning point in my life. As a result I have developed a major wanderlust and need a little more adventure. I tend to be a little shy and awkward, but I warm up quickly. I really want to start living and enjoying my life and experience new things. I’m artsy and a bit of a nerd. I paint, draw and mosaic. I also make a lot of jewelry. Sometimes I’m funny. My hair color changes a lot. I love animals and I do a lot of volunteer work with a local zoo/rescue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made friends with a fox at a wildlife rescue and slowly got her to trust other humans. She could not be released back into the wild due to an injury sustained a year earlier and she was very fearful of people. She wouldn’t let anyone come near her, but she took a curiosity to me after my 2nd visit. Over time I helped her see that not all humans want to hurt her. Now she will let the other caretakers come in and play with her, but I’m still the only person that she will allow to pick her up.

I can share the things I have learned after nearly 2 decades of working with jewelry, and everything I know about foxes (which is A LOT). I can also make some excellent beef stroganoff and teach you how to belly dance very badly. I want to learn as much as I can.
