I am a healthy 52 year old grandmother. I have been married for over 30 years. My goal when I was 12 was to become a fashion designer and travel to France and other countries and learn more about different cultures and Fashion. Only, I married and 19 and started having babies right away. Husband wasn't really interested in traveling at that time. I started going to school for fashion design, then we moved from California and settled in a little city in Georgia. There are no fashion classes here. I have been here for about 20 years and have done practically nothing towards my dreams. So, I have decided to start making some of my dreams come true before I leave this life! Since I'm from the West Coast and now live on the East Coast, I've Travelled most the US... the Southern parts. I'm usually the one behind the camera taking pictures instead of having my pictures taken. Must change that on the next travel excursion!

A few of my other goals consist of learning to speak Spanish and French fluently. I want to learn Salsa and Jazz dancing. I play a little, very little piano and I plan to begin taking lessons again and play for our church choir!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because when it comes time for me to travel to France, I want to make sure I have somewhere to stay to emerge myself in the French culture.
