About Me
I am just now asking to be guests during my travels, and find it so rude how people will decline you and give no explanation - even a short sentence. I understand things aren’t always available, but being kind takes so little effort.
Now, onto general info:
THIS IS NOT TO MEET MEN/HOOK UP/PARTY/ETC! Don’t waste my time if you are interested in any of those things. MUST: wear deodorant! Yes, this has now been an issue. Sorry, but it’s a must! 🤷♀️ VERY IMPORTANT: We are night-owls, and do NOT go to bed before 1 am or 2 am - sometimes later, so if you’re a light sleeper and have issues with folks moving around, this probably wouldn’t work too well. ALSO: I like the room COLD at night, so you may need to wear a sweater to sleep! My bedroom is much warmer than the livingroom, so I can’t turn the a/c warmer LOCATION: Naperville/Aurora area (Directly on HWY 59) DISTANCE: To Chicago via train (from Route 59 station) *Express = 30 mins. *Regular train = 1 hr TO AIRPORT: Approx 1 1/2 hrs., as the train goes to Union Station before O’Hare. ABOUT ME: I am a wife to my soulmate of 30 years, a mom to two amazing daughters (18 and 22), as well as a mama to two precious sausage dogs - and a psycho (but sweet) guinea pig 🤪 RELIGION: I am a Christian - but not fanatical. I cuss. Sometimes a lot. DRINKING: Casual wine/beer is fine. SMOKING: None allowed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love helping young people by providing a safe, clean place to stay for a few days, where they feel ‘at home’ - the way I hope my daughters are treated when they couchsurf.
