Overview
About Me
I am a 24-year native to Spokane, and have hosted guests from around the world. Welcome to our new location, located just a small handful of blocks from all of the wonderful treats of the City.
Finally establishing a web presence will schedule our weekends quicker, and the ability to reach more travelers to this lovely land I call Home.
From jazz to blues to cover bands and spoken word, Spokane has all the tastes, sounds, and entertainment to delight. On any given night or weekend, there are a plethora of things to do. Walk, bikeride, or hop in the car (he's well-known and a great Chevrolet), we'll tickle your travelbug with some persuasions of the PNW. I've been hooked on Spokane for years and find that offering our home, and a comical guided-tour, make for a welcoming stay-over to any guest.
Service- and companion-animals are welcome here. We have two resident cats; one is usually around the block somewhere greeting other neighbors, and the little guy stays indoors. We sincerely hope your allergies and heart can handle the affections of a very-affectionate kitten.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Simple, really. To continue doing what I do- attending events in Spokane and staying connected, open my home to Friends Yet Met, and facilitating an eventful or restful stay- while now increasing my viewership and Guest Services traffic.
I also fervently believe in welcoming visitors, and am aware that touches of home when away from home do more for the soul than warm towels from the Front Desk.
But we offer warm towels, too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Fleetwood Mac, Roxette, Bitter:Sweet, Styx, Flying Spiders, Stevie Wonder, Five Alarm Funk, LeftOverSoul, Atlas Hugged,
Musicals any day. Excluding "Cats".
Books? Phew. I've only met watered-downed paperbacks that I didn't like. My preference is on Literature from the 18th-early 20th Century; plays to novels and back again.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stopped thinking "I don't think I can" so quickly.
And that, that has made all the difference.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach the fine art of Assembling a Meal From What You Have, natural herbs and leaves best for the body consumed in Tea form, I learn incessantly everything from social reactions to tidbits and factoids, I share food and snacks as if I were Mary Poppins.
I've decided to pursue these attributes, hence our hosting of guests and travelers. Conversation and Food bring strangers together.
