Spreading the light - one person at a time.
I'm extrovered, passionate, talkative. CURIOUS. Want to learn. Want to "spread the light" wherever I go ... the "light" being my happiness. Happiness that I am on this earth! Here and now! I want to spread love, laughs and peace.
I love to travel, learn about other cultures, languages. Love to be surprised and fascinated by new things. Love talking about sociology, international relations and political science.
I am so lucky! So lucky to have a wonderful family and friends. I am really happy. I want to make as many meaningful human connections as I can, everywhere I go. I want to inspire and be inspired.
Life is so fleeting! My life, in the scheme of things, is so so tiny and miniscule, and instead of making me feel powerless, this empowers me! It reminds me that my time here is so precious. So I'm not going to sweat the small stuff - I'm going to smile, laugh it off and make a positive change in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to couch surfing - but I have always loved the idea. I recently had my first couch surfing experiences in Verona and Rome in Italy and excited to experience it again soon! I truly believe that it doesn't matter WHERE I am - it's the PEOPLE that I'm surrounded by that truly make my life what it is. It was great to get to know my Italian hosts.
Another hard question! I am interested in ... conflicts between nations and between people, learning more about religion, learning more about different types of music ... snowboarding, and dancing. Always dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the books I mentioned - The Twenty-One Balloons - is a children's book about the volcanic island of Krakatoa. The sheer size and strength of the volcanic eruption in 1883 has always fascinated me. It reminds me how powerful and incredible our world is. Since reading this book as a kid, I was determined to visit the volcano. When I traveled to S.E.A after high school, I went to Indonesia and paid a local boat-owner to take me out to "Anak Krakatau" (Mini Krakatoa). Seeing this active volcano in real-life was definitely amazing and unforgettable.
