I like to be silly and have conversations about theoretical questions (along the lines of "How important would hair plugs be for a balding actor? or "What generation would have been the best fit for me?") I can also be reserved, but I'm usually not fazed by much.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan on surfing a few places for my upcoming trip to Spain, France, and Italy. I also hope to meet people by hosting in Albuquerque.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but I've heard good things from other participants. Expect updates in the future.

Books: Some authors I like include Zadie Smith, Julian Barnes, Joshua Ferris, and Gary Wills. I'm also well-read in books prominent in pop culture (Twilight saga, Hunger Games trilogy, Harry Potter, etc). Some comics/manga that I've enjoyed include Y: The Last Man, Fruits Basket, and Death Note.

Movies: My attention span has gradually shrunk from being able to handle movies to TV to previews. Some trailers I've recently enjoyed include the ones from This is the End and Marie Antoinette.

TV: I don't watch too much TV nowadays as explained in the movies section. However, some TV shows I've enjoyed in the past include Veronica Mars, Arrested Development, and Touched by an Angel. I used to be addicted to reality TV, so I'm well versed in anything to do with Sister Wives, the Apprentice, the Real Housewives of (major city), Keeping Up with the Kardashians (this one is probably the most embarrassing, but at least you won't have to explain to me who they are and why they're famous), among many others.

Music: To be completely honest, you're 10X as likely to catch me listening to NPR than music on the radio. I do listen to the Spanish music station sometimes to see if I can understand anything. Some artists I like are Shakira, Michael Jackson, ZZ Top and Billy Joel.

I drove through a mass butterfly migration. Bugs on a windshield never looked so pretty.

I like to cook and would love to learn others' favorite recipes. I also like to organize stuff (although I'm so-so at maintaining structure). I also know basic dog training.
