CURRENT MISSION My current mission is to travel as far away from my comfort zone as I can, learn lots about life and myself and overcome things I thought I never could.

ABOUT ME I used to live in The Netherlands all my life, but moved to Dubai nearly 4 years ago.

PHILOSOPHY I think listening is the best way for me to learn new things. I like to be open to new philosophies, and I may agree or not agree, but I don't think judging people because you think a different way is right. I also believe anything can be conquered if you set your mind to it and let bad thoughts go.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm not really attached to the Dutch culture, but I can share it with you. As well as the nice spots I have discovered so far in Dubai, such as the old part of Dubai. Memories take a big part in experiencing things, so let's make it good ones!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have been hosting and I tried CS'ing myself in Lisbon. Met up with a bunch of people in different places, too.

At the moment I try to fit cooking, studying, reading and workouts in the time that I'm in Dubai, and when I'm travelling I'm always trying to go for a hike and wrestle my camera to take pictures to my liking.

Getting my diving certificate - I’m scared of open water and this helped tremendously.

I can teach you how to ride a bike, what the difference between the real Gouda cheese and the Gouda you find worldwide is, I can tell a load of random facts that magically disappear into the deepest corners of my brain when you ask for them, but pop up at the most unexpected moments.
