ABOUT ME

I am trying quite hard to understand myself, the world, and how these two entities relate to one another. I am a touch neurotic. I enjoy whimsy and intelligent discourse, as well as learning about new things. I'm like, actually an artist. (ISN'T THAT WEIRD??? To be actually a thing??) And I sometimes make music. I like experiments. I like growing my own food and also flowers. I like tattoos. I like poetic moments. I like tea. I have never actually been in a real fight but I can punch pretty hard and I am not afraid of physical contact. If you grab my ass without my consent I will mess you up.

I treat travel as a religion. Or meditation. I have never felt as good as I have when I am grungy, haven't showered in 3 days, sleeping on the floor of an airport or a ship with a sweater as a blanket and a backpack as a pillow and brushing my teeth with a water bottle. It's a time when I can be very honest with myself.

I studied art and like now I pursue it with all my might and it is a strange thing to have a career, a calling, an occupation. I am still figuring out how I can manage to do everything I like at the same time and still be sane. I do all the kinds of art except apparently painting. Don't ask me if I will paint a portrait of you and your horse unless you want to look somewhat demonic and unsettling. Then I will TOTALLY paint a portrait of you and your horse.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to live my life to the fullest. To understand myself and maybe the world, and to embrace the change that needs to happen.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed tons! I have also hosted one delightful scottish lass, a verbose alabaman, and a particular acrobatic swede on many occasions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to live/work with a couchsurfing host, and I have met the many interesting people that he has hosted. Also, I have surfed some couches in europe and the experience has been fantastic! Not knowing where you are going to stay at night can be stressful but builds character I think.

(I wonder why we seem to use our tastes in entertainment as a sort of identifier? "I am the kind of person who likes the movie fight club" etc.

That being said I am in a serious Herman Hesse phase right now and if anyone at all wants to get together to gush about how Herman Hesse is reading my mind then I would be so happy to oblige. Narcissus and Goldmund, Demian, Steppenwolf, jakhdskjg <3)
