ABOUT ME

I'm fairly simple. I love books. I love language. I want to hear the stories that people carry around inside of them. I like contradictions, those small details that pleasantly surprise you, like long-haul truckers who write poetry or college professors who read romance novels. Beautiful things make me happy, and by beautiful I mean in the most unconventional way. If you make me laugh until I cry, I will adore you forever.

PHILOSOPHY

Each affects the other and the other affects the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one.

音乐、电影和书籍

I read anything eagerly and voraciously. Novels, short stories, biographies, non-fiction...you name it. I love poetry and my personal favorite is R.M. Rilke, closely followed by Pablo Neruda and Sylvia Plath. I like pretty much any music, but it has to have good lyrics, so consequently I lean toward singer/songwriters and indie rock. Movies have to be smart and well written. I've been known to walk out of a theater if the writing has too many cliches...
