About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi there, my names Kim and currently I am taking three months out to travel from East to West (that's become somewhat more of a zigzag now!) across the USA with my boyfriend Jake. I have lived and worked in London for the past three years since studying Illustration in the small coastal city of Southampton, UK. I have mostly been working as a waitress since, with some freelance drawing work here and there too.

PHILOSOPHY

'Be excellent to each other'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me and my boyfriend are currently half way through our trip across the USA. For the most part we've been using Air B'n'B, and have met a lot of awesome people and had tonnes of fun. Recently we have been introduced to couch surfing and think it's a great idea! We're still traveling for a while, but would love to host people when we return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have so far not couch surfed, but have used Air B'n'B a lot. Since meeting some couch surfers in Colorado we can't wait to get started!

Interests

I love to draw and I've made a few of my own comic books. Nothing beats spending time with friends and family, and I love to meet new people and see new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Ramones are my favorite band. I dig rock n roll and I like stupid movies that make me laugh. Comic books are my favourite, especially anything independent/small press.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm from a really small town so going to university really opened my eyes, and after that I moved to London. It took a while to adjust but I love it. By far the best thing I've seen and done though, is this trip. I've met so many people and seen so much in a short space of time.
