Hey there,

my name is Kim and I study "Journalism and Mediamanagement".
I did a 16 months journey after my a-level, I had several occupations in many places/countries and I was blessed to travel quite early quite far.
I enjoyed it so much and kept travelling. Last year I went to months to the South of Spain and I spent half a year in Africa, mostly South Africa and Namibia which made really addicted to travelling.

I can honestly say that travelling, exploring, discovering, meeting and seeing, freedom and distantness is my purpose of life.

Like I stated already I study journalism so it is probably obvious that I like to communicate. I like to share my adventures and love to listen to others. I love good stories or good communications.

All in all I am a quite normal girl: I live in a shared flat, I love all kinds of food, like to read, spotify and anyway music is my best friend, in good weeks I make it to the gym, I like spend time with friends, I like being outdoor, I like to paint and I am curious about all new things. And I am pretty much in love with the world.

Well, I think I already explained my passion to travel and my desire to see and experience more in life.
I somehow get unhappy if I am stucked to long in one place. I love challenges, adventures, long road trips where you don't know your destination, cultures and history.
And I don't think that it is a secret, as student I basically never have money. Anyway I like to travel on low budget but my point to use couchsurfing is that I think that this is a great opportunity to connect with the locals. So with you :)

I think this is the best way you can learn about a country and really experience a country.
